Situated in the historic city of Ballarat, Sovereign Hill is easily accessed by car or public transport. Catching an Uber or taxi from the Ballarat Train Station is merely a click or phone call away. The visitor entrance and car park are located on Bradshaw Street.

• Access to the Food, Fire & Light Festival at Sovereign Hill – the evening experience (Friday or Saturday) and the choice of a full-day experience on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

• The vast majority of experiences are included in the ticket price.

• Additional costs apply to food and beverage purchases.

Can you tell me more about the New Events Precinct at Sovereign Hill?

• For the first time, visitors will have a glimpse of the “other side” of Sovereign Hill that has never before been open to the public.

• The New Events Precinct at Sovereign Hill is spread over two levels and covers close to three acres.

• Access to Sovereign Hill’s New Events Precinct is at the top of the Sovereign Hill site and is approximately 500 metres from the entry. A mild level of health and fitness is recommended for navigating the site comfortably.

Is the Food, Fire & Light Festival suitable for children?

• The Food, Fire & Light Festival is thoughtfully designed for adults to enjoy a night of immersive experiences and entertainment.

• However, we warmly welcome children to come along and share in the excitement, with many activities and attractions that appeal to all ages.

What happens if it rains?

• If the date you want to attend the Food, Fire & Light Festival are sold out online then no additional tickets are available and will not be available at the entrance. Please check our online system to make sure tickets are available for your chosen date. Please prebook tickets for everyone, including children and babies to avoid disappointment.
